With nearly 30 years of experience in the advertising industry, Dia began her career as a Client Relationship Manager at both international and Hungarian advertising agencies. She later spent 17 years as a Strategic and Coordination Director, leading professional teams and coordinating communication campaigns for numerous leading companies across a wide range of industries. From 2016, she specialized in event management, and in 2019 she took on the role of Head of an Event Management Business Unit at a major Hungarian technology and media company. Under her leadership, the division was successfully built up and, by 2021, had become one of the company’s key business areas.
Dia is currently the Managing Director of Lounge Event, the event management agency within the Lounge Group. Under her leadership, the agency has won several national and international awards, and in 2024 received the Agency of the Year title in the Central and Eastern European region. Her portfolio includes the organization of major flagship events such as the World Athletics Championships Budapest, the 45th Chess Olympiad, events related to the EU Council Presidency, and Hungary’s August 20th national fireworks celebration.
