Gillian is Executive Director of Innovation Operations with the Queensland Government. Her working life has spanned the arts, education, major events, tourism, and now innovation. Her mission is to foster creativity and innovation to deliver public value.
A career highlight has been overseeing the introduction of the Backing Female Founders initiative, supporting women’s entrepreneurship and driving sector-wide change by increasing access to investment, mentorship, and growth opportunities for Qld women in tech.
