Employer branding spans everything that shapes how an organization is experienced as a place to work — from people strategy and workplace culture to employee experience and talent attraction. The professionals recognized here are those whose work in these areas has stood out enough for the global business community to nominate and vote for them.
Anyone from the global business community can submit a nomination or cast a vote. The process is fully open — no closed panels, no invite-only juries. With 2,500+ nominations from 80+ countries, the list reflects broad, cross-industry recognition of who is genuinely shaping the employer branding space.
Nominations are categorized by field of expertise at the time of submission. Only those nominated under employer branding are considered for this list. The final 100 are then determined by public vote, with nominations serving as a tiebreaker when vote counts are equal.
The Employer Branding Powerlist is one of several expertise-based lists published alongside the flagship Symbol Powerlist of the 100 Most Influential People in Business. Sister lists recognize leaders in Creative Communication, Sustainability & Impact, Customer Excellence, Business Innovation, and Business Leadership.
